I work for a large multinational engineering firm and they have been rolling out copilot for a while now. They keep running courses about using AI and prompt generation but never have any actually useful use cases.
The best they can come up with is “summarise this doc so you don’t have to read it (but also read it because the AI gets it wrong) and then generate an even simpler summary and a pretty presentation for your boss so they don’t have to read it and also they’re an idiot.”
After the last course I asked the training delivery team to share the presentation material but they got all cagey like I wanted to steal their IP.
I asked you to hold my key value pairs, not give me your opinion on AI.
But it’s moot. Valkey is going to knock redis for a loop so they’re scrounging for something new to sell. And that’s apparently AI assisting.
