2·24 days agoFair enough, I agree it is common to go for more authoritative figures during times of stress. Which also creates incentive for authoritative figures to keep the stress factors going. But I think there is also some innate desire in humans to worship powerful figures.
I also feel like there is always a constant portion of people who worship power and think they can squeeze a decent life out of siding with the powerful. So if there ever is any war, it definitely won’t be a clear cut class war. And the billionaires will do everything in their power to make sure the war happens within the classes first.

I think there is still a difference if Russia loses all that power for nothing vs it gets what it wants (mostly at least). But my impression is also that it has gotten significantly weaker in this war and this was perhaps Europe’s and UKs (and US initially) aim, that weaken Russia using a remotely controlled nation…
well I mean if the original warmonger sees that he can get away with the war he started, he will keep doing this after this one is over too. Since this shows spending since 2024 oct it would mostly relate to spending in the government before actually wouldn’t it? I am more interested in what they are going to do with all the influx of money that will come from all the funding cuts that have happened in the last month or so.
