Yeah, I guess. Fark getting any work done today.
And never, EVER disable JavaScript on that website and reload the page! Not even if your Ad blocker lets you selectively do it.
I would just assume that anyone who needed a cite for really obvious stuff is just trolling.

1·1 year agoI like the SearX search engine. It gives old-school, relevant search results, not google ranked ones.
It’s also spread out over many separate instances, so you can pick the one that best suits your search needs:
“What’s stopping men from dressing like this?”
Dignity and self-respect?

Fuck AI@lemmy.world•Lionsgate Signs Deal With AI Company Runway, Hopes That AI Can Eliminate Storyboard Artists and VFX Crews
17·1 year agoAI writes stories / storyboards. Hollywood continues to make trash. Nobody buys it. Hollywood: “Wow. Why didn’t THAT work?”
It’s like watching someone hit themselves in the nuts with a mallet.
If you work 40 hours a week and you STILL can’t afford to pay basic living expenses, then your economy sucks.

Linux@lemmy.ml•Linux Desktop reaches New All time high. 4.45%(+0.4) 📈🐧
1·1 year agoThis. It feels to me like driving a stick shift when you’ve been using an automatic transmission for years. You have to do a little more fiddling but I honestly don’t mind learning a new OS that isn’t actively working against me.
With Windows . . . on the other hand . . . every time I’ve had to go “under the hood” (tweak Registry settings, Config files, etc) it’s been to prevent Microsoft from doing something crappy to me.
