    “The too big to fail” part might be claims that private equity is using “leveraged debt” to finance the data centers using the AI claims of crazy projected income.

    The money they’re using is your savings and checking account balances being loaned out. The banks don’t give a fuck if/when this blows up as its not actually their money and their socket puppets in the government won’t actually punish any of them.

    Too optimistic in my opinion. A bailout may not strictly be possible, if by bailout you specifically mean a congressional financing vehicle, with no goods or services exchanged. We know how the Republican party operates though: sham, no-bid, overpriced federal contracts through personal financial connections, like the one for the reflecting pool. At a time when OpenAI is desperately searching for magin-positive revenue, a congressional bailout would do less than the transparent corruption we already know occurs regularly in Republican administrations.
