The show is very funny, and he’s not evil, he’s just a jerk. He’s transphobic for the sake of being an asshole, but if you came to him with gender dysphoria he’d give you a script for HRT and a pamphlet on bottom surgery. He’s insanely effective at his job, and wholly committed to curing his patients. He just hates talking to patients and prefers them when they’re unconscious.

I haven’t played Disco Elysium, but I think what’s happening here is that Harry’s loins are singing to him “you’ve gotta get that lady’s number” while both Harry and the lady in question believe this lady is a cisgender man. This results in an extremely uncomfortable situation for everyone involved where Harry tries to put the moves on someone he does not believe he is attracted to.

Yeah folks seem to forget that he is also based off of Sherlock Holmes on his worst days. Holmes could be an asshole and has a pretty severe drug addiction as I understand it.
