      I have to admit that’s a pretty uncommon approach. But I guess, the softer the cheese, the freer the cut ! That’s why the infamous cancoillotte is not on the picture ^^

    Yep, can confirm. My partners side of the family (from NE & South France) does this…. Sometimes there’s a debate of preference when more people at the table.

    Other than the “rulo de cabra” type cheese which is hard to cut differently I’m pretty much cutting everything differently. Which is great. “The french way” is the least preferred way for me.
