I believe they still donate all profits from anti choice states to the national network of abortion funds. There’s a button on the checkout where you can ask not to have it donated and they basically say “we would respect your right to choose, but we don’t have to because your state doesn’t believe in letting people choose things for themselves.” I think they may have even added an additional charge to the order if people asked not to have their proceeds donated.
I’m over here asking why the corporations get the money when they passed the cost to us. Everyone knows thats what happened and now we’re just going to pretend that they should get the tariff refund and not us? They’re also certainly not reducing prices to pre-tariff levels, so we get fucked with tariffs, fucked with high prices staying high, and corporations get paid to fuck us twice.
Its almost like it was giant grift to begin with. Putin gets what he wants by pissing off our allies. Corporate america gets to profitteer without being the ‘bad guys’.
I deeply hate that this is the outlier exception to the rule of this dystopian nightmare of a country.
It should be the bare minimum.
