TAS s1e11 “The Terratin Incident”
That desk chair does not spin itself, and the very idea that my dad had no clue what the office record was for spin speed was dumbfounding.
“Dad, you have like 4,000 tabs open!”
“Oh! Is that bad?”
“Looks like we’re gonna need another Timmy!”
My son sitting at dad’s desk as a kid, playing Minecraft
True story
Me at my grandfather’s desk, finding his stash of Playboys and Hustlers in a drawer.
He was a brazen, no fucks kinda guy.
I’m a grown man and I still sit at a huge desk pretending to do important business stuff
When I was a kid, my dad had an Apple IIe, a dot-matrix printer, and a teletype he used for the deaf community(he did asl interpreting for his church).
You bet your ass I played with all of those expensive, serious machines. I even dabbled in writing BASIC programs; my pride and joy was a “program” that would calculate how long it would take (at 55 mph) to drive from our home to my grandparents.
~It was about 3.5 hours for those curious the result.~
