I am with you. I really want to like the game, but it just is not fun. I gave it 15 hrs.
Add to your list just how tedious all the bosses and mini bosses are. All of them act with maximum efficiency on every turn. Causes so many battles with them to drag on.

I was a pretty big believer in inception approach. If they think it is their idea they will be on board.
Now I think people only want to learn/believe things they see from their own personal bubble of “trusted source(s)”. Anything else can’t be correct or I’d have heard about it already.

The Firefox thing is not specific to opening a PDF. I get the same behavior you describe just when I open Firefox. It’s probably just first launch after a new boot for me but I’m not sure.

I agree completely and believe it’s an issue for people with disabilities too. Hopefully more and more people are taking notice and speaking out. I bet good videos help raise awareness too!
