Calling it AI is a compliment because it’s so incredibly stupid. For three of the four built-in closets you can’t reach half the stuff. The kitchen island in the middle of everything with a sink in it. The endless, useless corridors. The lack of daylight (each room gets a window and they all face in the same direction - genius). The door from the bathroom that opens into the door into the bedroom.

It looks like an AI layout that someone put into some rendering software and cleaned up a little bit. It is absolute shit.

Haha, so USA can’t have five story buildings because the parking lot would have to be really big. ½ mile is 800 m? That’s fine, distance wise from the train station. Maybe 0.4 miles would be better but you can still walk ½ mile in a bit over ten minutes.

This is why science is an art and why things like internships, PhD, and post docs are important if you want to establish your own lab some day. You can’t learn how to do everything from a book.

Sometimes there’s a well reasoned idea behind these things. Quite often that idea is wrong and was never properly evaluated because method papers are undervalued in cell biology and underpowered in machine learning. But hey, if it works, right?
