The Vatican has it’s own Holocausts to account for. What’s one more between friends?

You’d probably like ProjectFarm and HyperspacePirate.
Papists are fascists. And kiddy-fuckers.
I’d hoped this was missed sarcasm then I checked the profile. Its verifiable stupidity.
Because what we’ve found is governments are so good at determining who is right in a particular conflict.
Burn Snap out of there and I’m in.
Edit: looks like they’re not putting much towards snaps, it’s mostly Flatpak and systemd-sysext. I’m good with that.
Afaik, they can be impeached, can they not? And as I said in another comment, somehow the US has managed yet again to completely subvert a part of democracy that nobody else seems to have a problem with.
Honestly, this is a stupid thing to do. Democratically determine how you want to run your country by enacting a constitution and laws, then have a judiciary that isn’t beholden to transitory politics to interpret those laws. If they aren’t being interpreted the way you want, then fix the laws or impeach the judges.
But electing the officials that decide how the laws are interpreted is a fasttrack to fuckery. It’s a terrible way to run a democracy.
Like most of what the US does, it’s been perverted by money. Most other functioning democracies run a judicial system that’s independent of the administration and at least reasonably impartial.
Just playing a Collective Soul compilation on repeat does the same for me.
This is cool too, though.
Plasma.
When I try Gnome, within a couple minutes I encounter the Save dialog that defaults the cursor to the Search field instead of the Filename field, and the top of my head goes spinning across the room, and I uninstall it.
The ease of updating and installing new software is starting to get me down. I’ve started hiring a neighbor to come over and slap me across the face for minor updates, and vigorously kick me in the balls when I do a full version upgrade.
My brother in Christ, Oracle isn’t worth free.
They couldn’t even successfully delete my account or stop billing me after they couldn’t fix the simplest problem because they could never associate my support ID with my tenant account. I had to put a block on my credit card at the advice of a oracle support rep to stop getting charged.
Utter dogshit, but I don’t know what I expected, doing any sort of business with Larry Ellison.
You forgot -XNG
This might be what you’re looking for: Zola
Single binary that lets you keep your markdown/config in git and just build it from the git clone folder you’re in at the time.
I know some people that have moved off of Hugo to this, and Alex from the Selfhosted podcast recently talked about it on their show.
I think we’re getting down to the bottom of the tech idea barrel…
If you’re on Mint still, that’s X11 fucking you over. AFAIK, Mint hasn’t moved to Wayland, though you might be able to install an experimental session, but I wouldn’t trust it like a distro that’s all-in on Wayland.
I used to contend with monitors jumping around like a jack russell terrier with X11, never keeping settings, dropping out due to ACPI. Wayland has fixed pretty much everything I had going wrong with that stuff.
Boot a live USB of some distros that default to Wayland like Fedora, and see how it reacts to screensaving, then make some choices from there.
This is what I have going, and I too wish it had wireless charging. But overall, just a fine phone and not ridiculously huge.
Afaik, Maalit is bundled with Plasma Wayland already. It’s there in Virtual Keyboards for me on Nobara, though I don’t have a touch device available to test it right now.
That might be a problem with Kubuntu. It’s been a while since I tested Kubuntu, but the last time I tried it a few years ago, it was a trainwreck.
I’d have thought Russians were born knowing how to dig mass graves, like a cat that covers its own shit.
