It’s not all that expensive. The cost of storage is constantly decreasing over time. You can get a safe deposit box for something like $10/year if you also want the added benefit of an offline copy. I haven’t looked at cloud storage pricing, so I dunno what that runs.

We’re already paying more money for worse care. So dumb.
It may have been because Poe was one of the few authors I read as a kid, and seeing what they did with the stories tickled my brain in all the right ways.
I had like a good month long period where I’d just randomly stop whatever I was doing and think to myself, “God DAMN Fall of the House of Usher was SO GOOD.”
Took me way too long to see it, but the inflated mascot looks like it’s the animated series Batman’s ass getting ready to squat on the people.
The only reason they reinstated the accounts was because people blew them up on social media. If the appeals process failed them, it will definitely fail the average joe who doesn’t have the same level of influence online.
I’ve been a paying Proton user for years, and had already been looking for the exit, but this is the straw the broke the camel’s back. Using Nym for my VPN now, looking to migrate my other services soon.
