Unfortunately there is now way this will be worth it. Highlander was great because it had a Frenchman playing a Scott, a Scott playing a Spaniard and Clancy Brown playing one of the greatest villains of all time all set to Queen’s awesome soundtrack.

C’mon, the show was peak 90’s syndication TV. Highlander, Xena, Forever Knight, Brisco County, the golden age of flipping through channels and stopping when you see one.
“The show”!? While I enjoyed both, I was sure they were referring to the legendary movies!

I find it a bit ironic that you recognize his face. To me I recognize his voice. Once I hear that deep rich voice I know Clancy Brown is in it.
He does a lot of cartoon voice acting and that’s how i recognize Mr Krabs, too.

Clancy Brown is like Tim Curry: No matter what, they will always make it watchable.
I was so enthralled with the superb charter he’d pkayed at the time, I noted who it was and followed him in many of his productions since.
To me his character and the soundtrack are the glue that made the movie. It wasnt until No Country for Old Men and Javier Badem’s character that I thought id seen an equally “good” bad guy

This comment is so played out. If you’re looking for originality Hollywood after the last 20 years, you’re looking in the wrong place.
All these nostalgic comments make me wish I had seen the original as an adult. I saw it as a kid and just thought it was bad. No concept of ironic enjoyment.
The first one is genuinely good. It’s the later ones that require significant amounts of irony and/or drugs.
Maybe it’s not too late for me yet.
