Up until 1997 rape within a marriage wasn’t defined as a crime in Germany. Because it was specifically defined as an act outside of marriage. Our (probably) next chancellor Friedrich Merz voted against the bill that finally made it a crime!

For me throwing a graph in and telling it to create a table from it and stuff like that is really super helpful, since I often have to do this, and by hand it’s a very tedious job. Sorting and cleaning tables and translating stuff is super handy and I use it quite often. But other then that I don’t care.

I think for Germany it’s simply the fact that our infrastructure grew in large parts before the invention of the car, plus it’s, compared to the US, very densely populated. So it’s easier to create a useful rail system, there isn’t enough space in the cities for to many cars, even though there are way to many for my taste.
When the idea that we live on in the memories of the people who liked us, means sth to you, I would keep them. Every time you stumble over their entry this memory gets reactivated. I think that is a nice thing.
My grandmother died 40 years ago and she told me, when I was very little, to fold the seems of the coffee filter before you put it in. Everytime I make coffee I think about her because of that.

Why is everybody so obsessed with tweaking and customizing an OS?! My systems are pretty much vanilla and apart from the file browser I hardly use any active OS features.
And buying his cars I doubt that the majority of Tesla owners have been Republican voters in the past.
