If you’ve read the Constitution then I’ve got some bad news for you. Unless you interpret its amendments, then good news. But then there was the Southeast Asia doctrine by Kennedy, Johnson and Nixon… which is bad news. But then there is good news if you follow the War Powers Resolution of 1973. Oh but then there’s some muddy waters about Emergency Powers which goes back and forth with the Supreme Court which ultimately is bad news. Even worse was the Authorization for Use of Military Force against Terrorists passed by Congress around 9/11.

I do watch with subtitles for all those reasons above but that last one is important if you have watched a lot of subtitles in your life. Sometimes (and it’s very rare) there are some freedoms taken by the people writing closed captions. Sometimes it is hilarious and especially if the director/writers of the show are involved. Seeing corrections for political correctness are another hilarity.

My state left its driver’s license database open for years for anyone to go in with just a name, address and email to obtain the picture. There are easily accessible websites that let you search any state for a useable drivers license. I can’t imagine it would be too difficult to use some generator to make an ID. How else will all the botnets and AstroTurf orgs out there survive?
