I was in my mother’s womb when Chernobyl was melting down.
Women are a bit of a massive back to the max and the whole thing is the one I was thinking of you and the kids and the kids and the kids and the kids and the kids and the kids and the kids and the kids and the kids and the kids and the
Stone then pounds eg 11 stone 8.
Milk bottles are still imperial sized, but funnily I more often hear people say “big milk” '& “small milk” rather than pints.
It’s actually a real mix. Actually look at the milk you buy, some shops will do half litre, litre etc bottles some will do pint, 2 pint bottles. I’m pretty sure they’ll be priced the same. Clever little bit of shrinkflation where 0.5 litres is 68ml smaller.
I’m 38 and I use stone because that’s what I was taught as a kid. Metric for all other weights though.
I can kinda understand. Perhaps op pressed the low flush button trying to get rid of a massive turd and panicked.

Then you end up with Boris, Truss, Sunaak in a single parliament and then wondering why your party is seen as being incapable of selecting anyone decent and then a crushing electoral defeat.
I don’t get it.
If you’re an immigrant who’s already made it to the EU,why would you want to go to England in the first place? As a Brit, that’s better.
Jokes aside, here’s a couple of reasons I can think off the top of my head.
English is really common for people to speak as a second language. More likely to be drawn to a country where they have some chance of being able to communicate.
they may have friends or family already here (maybe who’ve chosen the UK due to point 1). People are far more likely to go somewhere where they already know people.
