  • One thing to consider is that certain holidays (despite being ‘religious’ in nature) arent really treated as religious by the masses.

I dont believe in religions, but celibrate chrismas as a family holiday. Same with easter.

However other holidays are really only going to by celibrated by the religious because there arent enough non practitioners who would also use those holidays.

Theres also the fact that there is supposed to be a seperation of church and state but it is actually a christian controlled government.

  • Because there arent proper checks and balances.

So just like the corporate world and the us government the shitbags get in power and do whatever the hell they want with little to no repercussions.

The teamsters just went through that for years with that shitbag Hoffa jr. He just let the companies do pratically whatever they wanted.

Then you got stewards and shit who dont wanna do anything.

I didnt know any union reps/stewards until I went to managment.

Basically they only care about collecting dues and increasing their numbers.

They union doesn’t ‘demand’ anything beyond paying dues from its members so you’ve got tons of people who really think they can act however they want.

Complete lack of any sort of rules of conduct and no work ethic.

  • All so very true.

One more bit of devils advocate though lol.

Slower driving would also give more time for the other ‘party’ to react and adjust as well / potentially limit the injuries sustained.

But realistically yeah it doesn’t make a difference because licenses are way to easy to get and keep (again usa - other countries may differ) and american drivers pretty much all have their heads up their asses 24/7.

  • Not arguing with the majority of what you said, but speed limit is maximum safe speed in perfect conditions. (At least here in the usa).

You are both expected and required to go slower depending on conditions.

Reduced sight lines means imperfect conditions and as such you are supposed to slow down.

In regards to another reply, there are multiple options of dealing with duplicates in calibre. From merging to deleting them.

It’s been a while since I had to do any library setup with calibre and Im kinda confused by what you are saying with “but it duplicates files when importing in a different drive where I don’t want ebooks”

Do you have multiple libraries in calibre?

Are you using multiple library managers?

Why not just use calibres folder structure?

And also if you don’t know about it - mobileread forums has been around a long time and has a whole section on calibre where you could probably get more specific help.
