Someone create a GoFundMe so we can buy him tickets.

What’s Putin worried about? He’s sure the Ukrainian invasion will be over in only 3 days. /s
Musk is really upping his asshole game. He’s alienated 50% of the US, a good bit of Norway and now Britain.
Ok, so cautionary tale time.
Regarding the “mac and cheese for life” bit…
Once a guy I knew received a “lifetime supply” of a brand of soap. Well-known brand. Not the cheap stuff. Showed up one day as a full pallet of boxes of soap. After about a week, he figured he needed to start figuring out ways to get rid of the stuff. He offered me a box (crate?) of the soap the next time I visited him. He offered another the next time I visited. And another. I soon learned to stop visiting. Soon all his friends and every person he knew were walking away with boxes of soap. Not individual boxes of soap. Boxes of 50 bars. His garage and soon his entire house smelled of soap. I’m sure delivery people stopped entering his neighborhood just to avoid having soap snuck into their trucks when they weren’t looking.
Long story short, I was in school at the time and free anything was a godsend. But after trying to use up 50 bars of the stuff, it was just too much. To this day I can’t even look at that soap when I’m at the store. The smell of it turns my stomach.
There’s definitely such thing as too much of a good (ok?) thing.
Didn’t you hear about that about that wind turbine that exploded and spread wind all over a dozen farmer’s fields? /s
From the article, it sounds like the HPV vaccine would help prevent these penile cancers.
Refresh my memory… weren’t Republicans up in arms trying to prevent their children from getting the HPV vaccine?
True, but in my experience, selling stock publicly is the ticket to hell. No matter how much of your company you think you still own, you’re going to be driven to make higher profits every quarter, no matter the cost. If you don’t comply, they will replace you with someone who will.
So there kind of is something inherent to running a business that implies cannibalizing one’s own brand reputation for short term profits.
It’s called “Wall Street”.
If you can’t be good, be loud.
Thanks, but I tried a few weeks back to get tab groups working for Firefox on MacOS. No joy.
Firefox add-on for Tab Groups? I looked and couldn’t find one. At some point they appeared to try to support tab groups, but gave up? I dunno. I’ve only used Chrome a little. I don’t personally care for Chrome, but I found the tab groups useful.
For YouTube on IOS, I use Brave. It does a decent (but not perfect) job of hiding ads on YT.
Mouse gestures is the killer-app for me on Firefox. Hate surfing without it.
P.S. Do wish Firefox had tab groups tho.
So… lemme get this straight. (Neglecting the fact that Putin started thus and can end it at any time) Russia can buy and use Iranian, North Korean (and possibly/likely Chinese) weapons on Ukraine, but Ukraine reciprocating using western weapons would justify a nuclear response?
Wait… theaters still exist? They were expensive before food prices doubled. How much are they charging for a bag of popcorn now? Do they accept bills less than $100?
Is it all self-service now? Are we now expected to push <play> on the movie computer AND clean the theater before we’re allowed to leave? Are you forced to watch ads while you clean up?
Ever since Jiffy Pop hit $50 at the self-service Dollar General, I barely leave home anymore.
So now India AND Israel AND Russia?
Please try it again and let me know if this fixed it. Both versions work on my end.
In the early days it seems pike Stack Overflow tried to regulate engagement from trolls. They encouraged support for dumb/newbie questions and discouraged obnoxious behaviors.
I’m guessing that’s just a losing battle. I don’t think there’s much hope of keeping a good moderator for free. It’s a tough, thankless job. Troll/poor moderators are free.
