Crucially: let me have the damn files.
Why would I pay to use your awful webreader or streaming client when reader apps with good UI and quality video players exist.

In a way I almost prefer that to the blatant posers I see driving around with huge lifts and offroad tires looking spotless in our muddy season out here. I was at the combo laundromat/carwash the other day watching one of them wash an already clean truck while I was thinking about the massive mud puddle I’d be driving through to get home.
Beans and lentils are cheaper protein, you buy meat because you prefer the taste. That’s a type of entertainment.
You realize that’s newsworthy precisely because it’s uncommon right?
I don’t think you know what that word means.
Paying someone to kill someone/something for you is still killing.
“but what if they have a medical condition that doesn’t exist that I just made up”
Pretty unlikely.
Curious what the fantasy world you live in looks like. Where industrial hog farms have garbage trucks heading into them and not trucks of purpose grown feed. I guess you wouldn’t have many landfills either.
Except you don’t need to eat animals and so it is the same. You’re killing animals for your entertainment, just because you eat them after that doesn’t change anything.

When solar farms are more than like 0.01% of land utilization then maybe its worth caring about.
For the same land you can power a household or get like 14 pounds of beef. who cares.
Just install solar panels where its cheapest, which is going to be an empty field where you can install a ton and get better labor efficiency during the install. Making green energy more expensive to install only benefits fossil fuel companies.
Average household is about 10000 kWh annually Solar farms conservatively produce 350MWh/year/acre
so 1/35 of an acre to power a home
roughly 3000 pounds of soybeans per acre becomes roughly 500 pounds of beef/acre.
500*(1/35) = 14.2

1: you shouldn’t have to
2: you have to go to like 6 different places to get most of them and there are still ads for microsoft products baked into the settings menu
How dare people post about Linux in /c/linuxmemes
The rotating to an earlier shift is even more insane. Maybe I’m wrong but I imagine almost everyone finds it easier to push through and stay up later than try to go to sleep 7 hours early.
Ao-chan can’t study. It drove me insane for a bit because I could have sworn I watched it. I didn’t but I think maybe I saw this scene somewhere.
*it hit me that I definitely saw this scene somewhere, probably a pretty high number of times without context.
I don’t think I care what the US Air Force calls people.
Then you don’t care about what’s being talked about. If Bushnell was a cis woman she would still be Airman Bushnell and it’s not misgendering.
Except the US Airforce uses it as a gender neutral title, which is extremely relevant when the subtext is you’re talking about whether you’re misgendering an almost certainly closeted trans person by calling them “airman”.
I should have said “as a title used by the airforce” but I figured that was implied.
here’s an af.mil article that includes the phrase “female airmen” multiple times https://www.af.mil/News/Article-Display/Article/3334170/female-fitment-program-drives-positive-change-in-air-force/
Kind of like how there are just humans and not humans and huwomans.
I wish I could find a city that actually enforced noise ordinances against loud vehicles. Every city I’ve lived in has been way too fucking loud for me to handle, so now I have to drive everywhere because the alternative is live in a city and be driven insane by noise pollution.
