Yeah that’s what I meant. If you take a normal dosage, lights out. If you take a hand full, you’re in for a weird time.
Disclaimer: don’t do drugs.
Only if you don’t take enough.
I miss being an irresponsible adult and plying games under the influence of different drugs.

It means people could post highly controversial and objectionable opinions and then just pre-emptively lock the thread, preventing others from engaging with it.
I guess I think they should be able to do that. If it’s detrimental to the community, then that is the mod’s job. Also ideally, some type of upvote/downvote system would bury said post after enough people downvoted it.

I really think Threads’ recently introduced feature that lets you filter or approve replies to your posts is far past due on social media.
If I make a post on a specific subject, I should be able to block/unallow posts that aren’t relevant or might derail the topic, without relying on moderators. It’s my post, I should be able to curate it.

Interesting DIY video on the subject.

Isn’t that where nazis ran to the first time the shit hit the fan? Probably just reserving a spot.

Seconding this. And if you keep an eye out, you can pick them up cheap on Botach’s clearance section https://botach.com/clearance

I think they are responding to the OP’s comment:
and would also potentially be somewhere between a misdemeanor and a felony depending on where you are in the US, as 3d printed firearms are generally without serial numbers and are thus ‘ghost guns’, which are often illegal if unregistered, if not outright banned, though this differs from state to state and city to city.
Which has nothing to do with NZ.
Edit: that last bit sounded catty; not my intention.

I would ask your lawyer before investing in the infrastructure.
Many of the US’ gun laws come down to “intent”. Almost like they were written from the start to be selectively enforced.

However, selling them without a serial number is illegal.
That’s not correct either . Federally it is legal to sell a self built firearm with no serial number as long as you did not originally build it with the intention of selling.

Bro, you’re worth 50 million. I’m sure you can afford to help pad the fall of those who got you there.

I just noticed a pattern of personality types that I didn’t mesh well with. So it’s best I don’t see their opinions, nor give them mine.
Like blocking all hexbear users. I’m sure I’m probably missing something worthwhile here and there, but overall my life is better without it.

I subscribe to ones I’m interested in. But sometimes I browse all to stumble across new interesting communities. I block the ones I see repeatedly and aren’t interested in. I block mass posters, I block bots, I block tankies, I block mods/admins of larger communities. It just makes my all browsing time more efficient.

I use it to curate my lemmy experiance. 99% of the users/communities I block aren’t for anything personal, they’re just clogging up my ALL feed with things I dont care about (for example, sports ball or foreign language comms).

I used to park my car in a Home Depot parking lot when I went to work with a laptop torrenting until the battery died.
