Even if you were 110% legal, would you risk getting someone who isn’t snatched up?
I tried to be festive and have been blasting Mexican music for the neighborhood; but it’s like 10pm and I’m old, gotta shut it down.

Our poverty “treat” as kids was toast with tomato sauce and a slice of government cheese, for a makeshift pizza.
Well. Not the whole thing. Obviously.

About half the time I try that, the seller just buys it from walmart/amazon and has it drop shipped to me. So I’m not sure how much good that does.

I agree with you 100% and do contribute to the instances I use and the content creators I watch.

The initial post came off to me as a dig at the admin for openly asking for money.
seathru@lemmy.sdf.orgto Fediverse@lemmy.world•The admin of the third largest Mastodon instance (16k monthly active users) is asking for help to pay rentEnglish9227·2 months agoSo? Do, or don’t. Either their service provides people with enough value to donate to keep it running, or it doesn’t and goes under.
Altruism doesn’t pay the bills; but it doesn’t hurt to ask. Can’t blame them for that.
Interrupting a circle jerk is poor manners.

Guess this is going to force me to start learning how to do that. I’ve been wanting to set up a RSS feed too.

Mostly just keyword filtering but it would be nice to have some of Voyagers other features. I wasn’t aware you could local host it with a web front end like that. Looking into that as well.
Thank you!

I’ll try to find the paper I read.https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32302460/ And another: https://ag.purdue.edu/department/entm/_docs/493_capstone/feston-capstone-summary.pdfI used ozone generators as part of a bed bug treatment, along with CimeXa and Crossfire as I recommended in another reply. And it was effective. But I was lucky and found them before moving in, so I was able to seal the house up and go nuclear.
You don’t really want to run an ozone generator in an occupied house. Even if you seal a room up, it will leak out and probably not good to breathe. But it has the upside of killing just about anything living, so it will kill both bedbugs and their eggs given a high enough concentration and long enough time.
I bought one of these (not an affiliate link) and it was overkill.
seathru@lemmy.sdf.orgto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Moved a Few Things Into a New Affordable Room. Woke up to Bed Bugs. An Exclusive Ask Lemmy Update: I left. Should I move back?English3·2 months agoCimeXa is diatomaceous earth turned up to 11. Not as cheap, and probably more hazardous to breathe; but works great.
That and Crossfire concentrate seem to be the best treatments I’ve found if you aren’t able to bring in industrial heaters or ozone generators. Luckily we found them before moving in. But 6 months later I’m still paranoid and examining every little bug I see.
Yoga 11e here. Fedora (Plasma Edition) worked perfect right out of the box.
