  • If catched early enough, that could save some memories before they’re destroyed

And as the long term effects, at least in mice, look promising, I’m kinda hopeful

Was absolutely awful watching my grandmother decline - and because of that, my mother is horrifically afraid of getting dementia

I hope this can translate from mice to humans fast and we can get something similar.

Restoring destroyed neurons will probably never be possible…
But at least we can stop the decline and new memories can be stored again, and with that a kinda normal life

  • As far as I know, it’s about endurance with our ancestors

Because we can sweat. And with that, we can run longer without overheating.
There are still some people in Africa hunting their prey that way.

Everything else came afterwards. Not sure about the timelines, so can’t say how much impact evolutionary selection has - but would be a very uneducated guess anyway

  • Oh, come on, don’t kill my dream of having a fully functional Linux phone with Android App support ;-)

At least it’s my plan to use it as a daily driver
As just a gimmick, it would be too expensive. So yeah, I really hope to replace my Android phone with it.

Maybe I need to get a TAN generator for my bank account, but else, I think, I should be fine with it

At least I hope so - and my hopes are really up ;-)

But maybe I’m just too hyped at the moment…
