why blow up the bridge though? That is such a small dick energy move, like blow up legitimate military targets, not public infrastructure you fucking donkeys.

Not a true expert, but nothing in those photos says f35 to me…

If you aren’t free to oppress someone, are you truly free? (/s)

I think you’re agreeing with me? I’m not sure, but that was the point I was trying to make - we need each other for different reasons.

I don’t know what Iran expected when they spent the last several years actively arming Russia, I wonder how differently the war would have gone without Shaheds terrorizing Ukrainian infrastructure and civilians…

Iran has shown that the United States needs NATO, and NATO needs the United States, more than ever. If Iranian Shaheeds and their manpeds / S300s are hitting US fighters and sneaking past defenses, who knows what more advanced or just sheer high scale weaponry could do, air superiority does not feel guaranteed.
A near peer (Russia) conflict would be ugly on a scale not seen since WWI, a true peer (China) conflict would unleash horrors we cannot imagine. We will all need each other, as NATO is a significant deterrent factor, which could actually save the lives of millions through deterrence, or shift the balance of warfare through increase manufacturing and safe zone output.

things like this give me hope for the future, if we can come together and preserve our cultural legacy like this - what else can we come together and do?

Great point, they have come far, but my interactions have led me to believe they have come super far in faking it, not in actually understanding what is being done.
Maybe they have come further then I realize, but based on how easily they get tripped up on simple things and tie themselves into knots, the general models haven’t come too much further since.

Sounds eerily familiar to the night of broken glass… (11/9-11/10/1938)

I do remember talking to chatbots on AIM back in the day, so I think I had a leg up on other people in already understanding that the technology has existed for decades, which made me more cautious about the claims.

seems like large scale data analysis and mathematics are the strong points of AI if I understand the tools correctly, less ambiguity and room for hallucinations.
Do people agree?

I mean, I don’t doubt that honestly, makes a lot more sense to me especially since they never got any reward money.
Also could of been a way to “legalize” the illegally obtained facial recognition, or some other form of illegal intelligence gathering.

Agreed, but what I am getting at is trying to determine an absolute earliest possible start date. The pile cannot be older than the oldest object in it, so regardless of any other factors, you can at least determine X is the earliest possible start date, then you can use other details to reconstruct other pieces of data (aka the other objects in the pile)
obviously there will be a range of ages, but I’m just following the thread of the oldest object for a starting point, not as an absolute age for everything in the pile.

We can agree to disagree on this one, I think every single thing you said is incorrect. I hope you have a good day, and I also hope your life saving or even life improving medical treatments are never denied due to insufficient authorization.

I think this is good, right? Feels like the first time the supreme court has done something I agree with in a while…

closest thing we had to it was arrested in a Mcdonalds because some dumbass making less than 12 dollars and hour dropped a dime on him.
Can’t have robin hood without some class solidarity.
fuck.
