This reminds me of the Heard v Depp case, on the two X chromosomes subreddit there was this long ass comment from someone who experienced abuse and said she wasn’t the “perfect victim” because she fought back and hurt her abuser back and how because of this it was harder to get away from her abuser.
And when I asked how does she know that in Heard v Depp case it isn’t Depp who is the imperfect victim? Because he had multiple partners testifying to his character of being a kind man etc, while Heard had the opposite (AFAIK).
All I got was silence and downvotes.

5·11 days agoI have had gone Mac because framework wasn’t selling in my country, but got an email about two weeks back that they started selling here too, so once my macbook dies or becomes too slow I will be buying a framework
6·13 days agoWhatever you think you will achieve will be reversed by the spoiler effect, as others said, unless you get people in positions of power where they can help change FPTP voting system to something else nothing will change. until then 3rd party candidates will be nothing else than useful idiots to try to siphon votes from one of the sides

to me it doesn’t matter tbh, as long as the 24th is somewhere monday-wednesday, that means days off that week, we get 24,25,26 off.
It is literally happening this year.
24th is Tuesday. 1st of January is Wednesday and as a bonus Jan 6 is also a holiday in my country and that’s Monday.
So from dec 22 to jan 6 i can be home by using just 6 days off

He already said capitalists, state capitalism is still capitalism, no matter if you call it communism.
That’s because the EU was created with the purpose of making an interconnected market where going to war is simply way too costly.
As the other commenter said, there is a war in Europe though.
I used to be in a bad space, getting off the internet more and living life more helps a lot, I am not trying to dismiss your concerns, but I think you will find the real world to be much less extreme than what’s on the internet.
I mostly stopped following politics, the amount of injustice make me angry and unable to function, but I came to the realization that I am not the kind of person who is going to devote his quite literally limited time on earth to trying to fix other people’s stupidity, I go out and vote in elections, then I live my life, that’s it.
Being online and reading people bitching about stuff and saying how bad it’s gonna be doesn’t really get you anywhere only into a bad space mentally, so why read it? I have curated a homepage on lemmy thats almost completely politics free, what’s politics is mostly satire to make me laugh, I feel better, and I focus on being a better me.
