  • Running an LLM locally is entirely possible with fairly decent modern hardware. You just won’t be running the largest versions of the models. You’re going to run ones intended for local use, almost certainly Quantized versions. Those usually are intended to cover 90% of use cases. Most people aren’t really doing super complicated shit with these advanced models. They’re asking it the same questions they typed into Google before, just using phrasing they used 20+ years ago with Ask Jeeves.

  • The Christofascists need Israel to rule the region as an ethnostate, it is a prerequisite for the Christian end times.

And YHWH declared to His “scattered” followers, “For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land…Then you will live in the land I gave your ancestors; you will be my people, and I will be your God.” (NIV Ezek. 36:24, 28)

And the current events seem to be directly moving towards these various prophecies, likely intentionally directed by various State actors as well. World War 3 being based in the region is certainly a possibility looking more likely by the day.

“I will make Jerusalem and Judah like a cup of poison to all the nearby nations that send their armies to surround Jerusalem. Jerusalem will be a heavy stone burdening the world. And though all the nations of the earth unite in an attempt to move her, they will all be crushed.” (NLT Zechariah 12:2-3)

  • I think a big part of the issue is the wild variances on electric stove quality.

The landlord specials are dogshit and what most people have experience with. Even a bad gas stove is 10x better than those.

But once you get to quality electric ranges, and then induction options, they are superior to gas in basically every way. But very few people have experience with these, or the money to afford upgrading to them when their existing stoves breakdown unexpectedly. So most are stuck with the cheap crappy electric options.
