Especially when it feels like one someone actually worked on but didn’t want to read themself. I don’t care how much time you put into writing and editing if I have to hear it through a robot voice. I’d rather hear a shitty mic/thick accent, or whatever else is stopping them from just recording the lines.

trashcan@sh.itjust.worksto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•How do you persuade a musician YouTuber to release some of their videos as an album and what platforms are best to facillitate that?2·12 days agoTuneCore and CD Baby are popular distributors for independant publishing to streaming but I don’t think they’re the best.
Edit: Bandcamp is by and large the better option if being on major streamers (Spotify, apple music, deezer, tidal, etc. isn’t important.
I thought God changed his mind about black people in 1978?
Evidence suggests that a longer version of the saying was circulating prior to the early- to mid-19th century. The meaning is thought to come from the way clams are protected during high tide, and although the connotations have changed slightly, this original concept is still is the heart of the expression today. First Usage
This phrase is actually a part of the bigger phrase “happy as a clam in high water” or “at high tide.”
