No, I bet it is some AI firm. nVidia is currently milking most of them dry and I would not be surprised if it is either Microsoft or Meta

The redneck engineering equivalent in CS
Yeah, but as you said, it is highly dependent on the implementation. Theoretically it is possible that the user is also seeding the previously downloaded/streamed chunk (via WebRTC for example if using a browser). That reminds me of a madlad that stores data on a ping packet (see suckerpinch channel on youtube, specifically his video titled “Harder Drive”)
I never understood this argument. Why does having common first letter bad? If you mean subjectively then sure, it may not be for everyone, but objectively?
Alright, will check it out
Maybe slightly related, but does anyone know any good codec (beside FLAC) for ultrasonic recording?
Damn, I know I recognized it somewhere in the original but still I was hoping there is a doujin with a good story.
Is that an actual doujin somewhere?
Eh, we can argue about language all we want but at the end of the day if it is still the same code just with a different branding, someone will be bound to automate the process eventually. It’s FOSS, if someone is willing to put in the works to enable people who think the brand name is a hindrance for their change then more power for them no? We even change master/slave terminology in CS and many other field for the same reason (linguistic)
One and only Gintama
To be fair, if the fork sole purpose is to just re-label the software and make people that have irks because of the name start to use the software, who are we to judge?
I see. I’ve skimmed the docs and indeed see that it supports a lot of IDP with what looks to me some env var. And thanks for answering another question of what their auth library is since that is a lot to support.
…can you post your monitor setup?
IIRC, even KDE and their whole suite of apps are dwarfed by the LOC count of browser (forgot if it is firefox or chromium)
Same could be said for any other distro. I think his point is that when shit just works, nothing makes a difference between distro. Be it Arch, Debian, Ubuntu, Mint, Fedora, Gentoo
I am his distant cousin
Where do you shit?
Damn, Log Horizon. Now that brings back memories. I really hope a new episode will come sooner.
