really depends how serious/deep you want to research. start with wikipedia. i catch myself asking the AI for a basic understanding and further sources. if you really want to dig deep try to find universities with public curicullum. They just list the reviewed literature they build their courses on. At last, for scientific research there are peer reviewed papers but i felt like many of them are mixed quality and just a means for graduation of doctorands. So books should accumulate the good ones and their findings in a coherent way after all.

Sounds actually relaxing

Had an interview at a company. They asked me to do a coding challenge. Solve it without AI. The task was written in AI and requirements all over the place. Took me 6hrs+. I sent it and they wanted to see me in person. Took half a day off to make to the interview. Meeting went well. They call me and tell me my assignment was not what they expected.

There should be a hefty fine for this behavoiur.

You really only need to replace 10% of jobs. There are talks of replacing software devs with AI. And developing is one of the more complex tasks in office environment. Imagine 10% of the country rioting. Thats suddendly millions of people. You dont have sufficient police or prisons to handle that.

There’s a conflict index which predicts conflicts based on whether the population is able to feed, house themselves, find a spouse (think cultures with multiple wives) or find a job. In short, civil war is 3 missed meals away. This is espacially dangerous with this new generation not being able to provide for children. Nothing to lose.
