Every time I come across funny aviation stuff I think about Kennedy Steve. Legend.
The death spiral continues
I hope it’s not bird flu related
Recently had my RAM died on me and bought a new pair. I had a 16gb and the 32gb ones were on sale. Really felt the difference lol
We’ve got AIs to go through applications that is submitted by AIs. Just what are we doing here?
That’s how I thought the Frediverse worked at first lol
… That would make sense haha
Cave diving is a good one. But also underwater cave diving, if that’s the right term. Seeing pictures of those those “don’t go beyond this point you will die” signs underwater is pretty dang spooky
Yeah, I realised the first film came out 10 years ago recently. I can’t believe it and I can feel myself aging in my bones
I hide my taskbar and sometimes it gets funky and a little shy and doesn’t pop up. Pressing the Windows key pops it back up.
Once in awhile on my home non-windows machine I use it to pop the menu out to turn off the computer. Completely mood based.
tbh I hit the socks before appliance
I looked up the Wikipedia page.
The only inhabitants are British and United States military personnel, and associated contractors
Oh, ok. That’s not too bad actually.
The forced removal of Chagossians from the Chagos Archipelago occurred between 1968 and 1973.
Oh.
Today, the Chagossians are still trying to return, but the UK government has repeatedly denied them the right of return despite calls from numerous human rights organisations to let them.
Ooohhh…
On 3 November 2022, it was announced that the UK and Mauritius had decided to begin negotiations on sovereignty over the British Indian Ocean Territory, taking into account the international legal proceedings.
Ok, getting better…
However, in December 2023, it was reported that the UK government was planning to discontinue the talks.
Oh, it’s worse, actually.
Been having teeth and car problems :)
Just this morning I tried to make Outlook on my work laptop to open on startup. I have to find and add a shortcut of Outlook, buried somewhere in the machine, to the startup folder, buried somewhere else in the machine. The startup apps settings menu was just an eclectic list of programs and is of no use at all.
With Mint on my home machine I just go to startup programs settings menu and I can add whatever I want just by pointing it to the right program. It just works.
I have tasted the “gravy” in the wet food. Not disgusting, but definitely not interested in trying it again. When I worked at a pet store one of those birthday biscuits came in broken so my manager has written it off. He offered me to try a piece and those were honestly not bad. A less sweet cookie basically.
I have some bad news for you
