I think it is a few things and mostly centered on raising a family. I also think its lame but these are the reasons as I see them.

They have front/back yards for children to play
The buildings are physically separated so the chance you hear your neighbors is low
The neighborhoods are much more quite
The neighborhoods have low crime

Since the majority of people in the world are idiots, and management tends to collect them at a higher rate than other roles, you will generally be rewarded more for how you make others feel than the amount or quality of your work. A person with a 10 in charisma and 4 int gets farther than the person with a 10 int and a 7 in charisma most of the time. Focus on learning better people skills. If you find a place where your work is recognized you should cherish it.
Also in the US the left lane is for passing the right lanes.
I used to write articles for medium. My content has thousands of views on their platform. I stopped writing the first time they demanded i pay them money to read an article.
As an American I can break it down for you. The people who wont stop about 2A are sheep, sheep get told what to think, so when the “news” tells them that doing anything to make life better in America will actually make life worse and is some form of evil -ism (communism, socialism, etc.) that they have been programmed to hate, they believe it without question. These clowns are incapable of creating a personal opinion, they just accept the narrative that their favorite talking head gives them, and think they came up with it all on their own.
This is without even getting into the tribalism that makes these beliefs they have been given feel like a part of their identity, and thus making it near impossible to change.
But isn’t that the story of America? Making things illegal that would prevent you from maximizing profits to the detriment of every one of your countrymen.
It will be a perfect litmus test of how corrupt modern media is when the case gets tossed out and suddenly all of the media will begin reporting “it wasn’t actually him to begin with” stories that were magically not present before…

Disagree. Social media is built to favor creating and then selling huge name influencers to your users, and because you cannot become a large influencer/streamer/w/e without essentially being uncritical about the world, or being critical in a way that swings completely to 1 side of the aisle. This is in itself a form of moderation that only ever allows some critical voices to succeed, but only if their critique furthers the divide among the working class.
