There’s a simpler explanation for this: only the really good ones live to tell the tale.

Can somebody explain to me why it’s taking so long for Tate to get sentenced?
Really? It seems like it’s 50/50 if I can even open a link I’ve searched up without it immediately demanding that I log in.
Is this a copy-pasta I haven’t seen before or did you make this up?
I would assume he means speed in regards to catching malicious software and not speed of development, do you have a reason to think otherwise?
Umm, akshually, there would be a number of options to try first, depending on the circumstances:
As someone who is much more centrist/liberal, I had to block a whole bunch of leftist communities recently just so that I could keep enjoying the Fediverse. I would have greatly prefered not to, but so much of leftist content on here is far too cynical to any other position.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but that was only one user who made that comparison, and they got downvoted hard for that.
Context is important. Literally the next couple verses in both passages say something along the lines of "The disciples asked, ‘Then who can be saved?’ Jesus said, ‘With people it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.’ "
According to the Lexham Bible Dictionary, “most scholars reject this interpretation because the meager textual evidence most likely can be attributed to speculations about this verse by some church fathers.”
According to the Lexham Bible Dictionary, this interpretation “dates back to the fifth century and suggests that kamelos, the Greek word for camel, should actually be read as kamilos, which denotes a rope or a ship’s anchor cable. … However, most scholars reject this interpretation because the meager textual evidence most likely can be attributed to speculations about this verse by some church fathers (Origen, Cyril of Alexandria; see Fitzmyer, Luke, 1204; Barclay, Matthew, 239).”
They also disagree with the gate interpretation, saying that “Scholars have found no historical foundation for this view, and no evidence supports the existence of such a small gate in Jerusalem’s walls.”
“Energy is conserved in general relativity, it’s just that you have to include the energy of the gravitational field along with the energy of matter and radiation and so on.”
Quote taken from Atzanteol’s article.
Further into the article he says that, "It would be irresponsible of me not to mention that plenty of experts in cosmology or GR would not put it in these terms. We all agree on the science; there are just divergent views on what words to attach to the science. In particular, a lot of folks would want to say “energy is conserved in general relativity, it’s just that you have to include the energy of the gravitational field along with the energy of matter and radiation and so on.” "
So energy is conserved on the whole, it’s just not conserved if you consider photons apart from their greater context.
Oh, that’s a chicken. This image makes more sense now.
What does this have to do with Nascar? Is it just because of all the advertisements on the side?
Yours would be better without any words or text bubble on the second panel.
Poob? Is that a reference to Ploob?
