I sometimes post questions that get a few answers, but recently those people have been ignoring my follow up questions which is quite annoying, is engagement getting so low that people don’t care to reply anymore?
I try, mostly through comments and votes.
The TV show went on for far too long. It got real stupid in the later seasons.

Actually, that is a myth. “In matters of taste” was never part of the original saying. One theory was that it was coined as an alternative to the “buyer beware” mentality.
