Don’t feel guilty if you don’t know what you want to do with your life.
The most interesting people I know didn’t know at 22 what they wanted to do with their lives,
some of the most interesting 40 year olds I know still don’t.

I just like the idea of never having to buy another pair of sunglasses. If the next two pairs last as long as my current pair, they should outlast me.
I’ve owned five, but have worn/used three.
First pair from age 13 or 14 through to 17. Second pair from 17 until 24. Third pair has seen daily use for over 14 years.
I have replaced the lenses in my third pair once, and have a couple of pairs of spare lenses if the need arises. I already have my next two pairs of sunglasses, bought them maybe eight years ago, just in case.
This doesn’t include tinted safety glasses that I wear at work, I usually only get an average of 6-8 months out of those.
Did you wear a dress for a period in the 40s?
Most of my passwords are based around strings of characters that are comfortable to type, then committing them to muscle memory. There’s a few downsides to this:
If I need to log in to something on mobile and don’t have a proper keyboard with me, it’s tough to remember which symbols I’ve used
I share some of my logins with friends and family for certain things, if they call and need to re-enter a password, it’s usually impossible to recite it to them over the phone (most of my shared logins have reverted back to proper words and numbers to make it easier for the others)
If I lose an arm, I’ll probably have to reset all of my passwords.
But yeah, words alone provide plenty of possibilities. There’s a reason cryptocurrency wallets use them for seed phrases.
Definitely It’s Always Sunny. I can already hear Charlie screaming, “It’s all oil!”
Did number 2 the same, then again with killing everyone and no powers. First playthrough took forever, second was only a few hours.
Bamiyan, one of the poorest regions in impoverished Afghanistan, is a popular destination for foreign tourists because it contains Buddhist monastic ensembles and sanctuaries, according to the U.N. Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.
I could only guess and say that it’s not an insignificant amount if they’re calling it a popular destination.
Friday’s attack on foreign tourists was the first since the Taliban stormed back to power in Afghanistan in August 2021.
Not bad odds, really.
Even if it’s strap-on anal? That’s appalling.
Girls can’t get pegged, or girls can’t play Fallout?
I remember hearing a theory that it could have been intended as a viral marketing campaign for the remake of It. Once it started getting bad press, they gave up on the idea, but copycats kept copycatting.
No idea if there’s any truth to any of that, but it seems plausible.
No drawbacks for my use case, but there are a few quirks.
Some apps that I’ve dabbled with might show vertically, but most of the Android TV compatible apps were fine.
Some apps seem to expect a touchscreen input, and don’t really show what’s highlighted or selected very well, so navigating with just a TV style remote control can be tricky. I have a mouse and keyboard that I also use, definitely the easiest option.
Lastly, the Shield is a pretty powerful device, so I always kinda feel like I’m not using it to its fullest potential. I haven’t really tried any gaming with it, I don’t use it as a media server or anything, just a simple stream box. That’s less of a quirk with the device itself, and more an issue with me feeling like I should be putting it to better use.
Happy to answer any other questions you may have!
I have an Nvidia Shield running LineageOS.
The setup process wasn’t too bad, but the Shield might be more money than you want to spend.
I use it for Netflix and Plex, as well as Spotify, with no problems. It tells me that Netflix is not optimised for the device, but plays fine. I’ve heard that Netflix may limit it to 720p, but the quality is as good as you can expect from Netflix anyway.
Plex works perfectly, can stream 4k from my media server with no issues. I will eventually transition to Jellyfin, once I convince the 4 other households that have access to my Plex library to sort themselves out.
That was a couple of years ago, Vince has already forgotten.
Woah, respect and understanding are two huge red flags. Get out while you can!
Out of curiosity; who is providing the mail service? Or are you self-hosting? Trying to organise mine, hoping I can get it done maybe 19 years quicker.
