I’m using gnome.
Really enjoyed sway but lacked the integration I wanted, KDE before plasma 6 would break all the time and I liked but again lacked integration niri (a scrolling window manager)

I have had thoughts of the film How to Get Ahead in Advertising

UK here.
Its better then America, but many fail to see that our NHS wasn’t given freely, we struggled for it, and year by year we loose more of it to privatisation. I am currently witnessing one hospital closure in my county, and this is happening across the board. Nhs Waiting lists are a hot topic across the country due in part to years of austerity measures.

People parroting this are falling for the capitalist propaganda. Unions work so well that the ruling class has employed a mass campaign against unions. That isn’t weakness.
We the working class keep our society running, we can shut our society down, and this scares the shit out of the ruling classes who while wealthy in assets, are weak in number.

Decades of manufacturing consent, propergandising against workers power. We live in a hyper individualist society where the state can feel monolithic and we can’t fight it alone, furthered by not knowing how to collectivise. This can however change, when capitalistic crisis deepens so does class antagonism. Capitalism can not solve its own inherent failures.
The US’s imperialist invasion of oil rich Venezuela will lift many out of poverty in imperialistic countries, however this will be a dirty bandage on a septic wound, and while in the short turn it will lift some up, it will also push a vaster number down in the client states.
What we need is a revolutionary working class. No more flimsy concessions, careerists, or ruling elites. This necessitates developing class consciousness with in the mass of our society.
So get studying Marx, join a revolutionary socialists/communist party. Get involved in local actions. Essentially become a leading comrade.

He’s banned me from all his communities. Power tripper and disingenuous in how he engages
Its like when I randomly think “I could really do with a corneto”, " I could do with a smoke". “I could do with a shag”. Its an implosive thought and like others it doesn’t serve much beyond enjoyment.

Me and my brother lived at our grans in our mid to later teens, we lived in the living room, and as teenagers do, we would be up till late playing video games and browsing the web on our laptops, my brother had the latest macbook and we had the latest consoles. Late one night in the AM, I had been gaming and my brother was probably making music on his mac, the living room was not well concealed from the outside, gaps in curtains, windows on the foot path and being on the ground floor. A knock on the door, young and dumb, I answered, it was a tall mid to late 20s guy, a little sketchy looking, he asked if we knew of a party near by, he had been looking for it and wasn’t able to find this party. Me and my brother had no clue about a party. He left and we closed the door, and that was that, but then another knock at the door, same guy, but this time his eyes were darting about through the front door, he asked us if he could come in, which was an obvious no, on attempting to close the door, he wedge his foot in the gap. Me and by brother had to shoulder the door to close it.
We didn’t leave, just felt freaked out and a little trapped. It was one of those moments where I hadn’t reflected all that much at that time, but now in my 30s, I do find myself thinking what if.
