Damn dawg, reading this made me not wanna self host my own instance. I was considering it.

The comments here are ridiculous, in the grand scheme of things our lives are but insignificant blips in time, our borders and laws are made up constructs, and you have free will. Stay and rebel, use your life to help others and fight this injustice, or cherish and protect the time you have and flee. There is no right answer.

If you stay arm yourself and start coming to terms with the fact that you might have to fight and you might die, if you go understand it’s not gonna be easy, you are gonna have to learn to navigate a lot of bureaucracy that is unknown to you with no guarantees but 25k is enough to start a life a new, possibly even pay someone to marry you for citizenship in certain places.

That being said, the world is coming to a breaking point, we are destroying the planet, most of the world operates off of this concept of endless growth and consumption and above all rewarding greed and taking advantage of others, society needs to find a way to reward the altruistic and ways to live sustainably, we need to severely limit the amount of wealth, power, and resources any one person can have. Our resources like fresh water, oil, and food are bound too become more scarce and this fight is coming for everyone, everywhere.

I wish you the best of luck, I’m also at this crossroads and don’t know what I’m going to do, luckily I love life, love learning, and I’m always having fun, I also have high demand skills but also I’ve lived a good and full life and if I die fighting for the world I want, maybe that’s not so bad of a way to go. Once again, there is no right answer, do what you think is best.

Definitely feel like there is a reason on why ICE has pulled back on other liberal places and started to focus more on states that border Canada. Oregon, Minnesota, and from what I just read Maine is next.

Don’t know if it’s too goad those states into trying to succeed to Canada possibly causing a civil war and other states to follow suite and then using that to justify fighting Canada or it could involve getting more military on the border without raising too much suspicion but it definitely seems like a move that’s modeled with some fucked up intent.

We didn’t smoke or have pets in our house, those things just ended up looking like that.

I had this computer. I was pirating everything on Limewire & Napster on average at like 5-40 kilobytes per second. Had a hidden porn folder my family couldn’t find because of course this was the family computer. I was chatting it up with girls on AOL messenger and myspace, blogging the most cringe and emo crap on xanga, and checking slashdot and digg everyday. I was playing all kinds of wild and comically shitty themed Starcraft & Warcraft pvp custom maps and spending hours upon hours on Runescape getting the stupidest skills leveled up with macros and luring people into the wilderness to gank em. I was making Dragon Ball Z anime music videos to Linkin Park, Incubus, Rancid & Rage Against the Machine songs. Printing off hundreds and hundreds of pages of guitar tabs, 90% of which I would never play because I wasn’t that good, printing out game guides, cheat codes, gameshark codes, and let us not forget mapquest directions. Was making shitty JavaScript gundam games. Downloading cracks and keycode gens for all kinds of software. I was responsible for at least one virus that made us reimage. Burning all my favorite songs on cds and making mix tapes for friends. I had that sick 3D pipe & 3d maze screensaver. Drinking surge and eating pizza bites.

When this computer was retired as the family computer it became my first Linux PC.

What a time to be alive.
