It’s incomprehensible that religious conservatives (or conservatives in general because, let’s be real, none of them truly live by any religious tenets) care more about what’s in people’s pants, who people love, and making sure the number of unwanted babies keeps breaking records rather than actual, real, tangible help for anybody but themselves.
