TL;DW:
South Korea’s fertility rate was 0.72 in 2023 and has not recovered. This leads to a nationstate that is unable to keep it’s systems running due to a lack of employable domestic citizens.
The title and the thumbnail are so over the top. There is nothing new which we didn’t know for the last 7 years or so. Korea had the lowest fertility rate in the world for many years now.
I’ve been living here since 2020 and sure those are problems which we will have to deal with, like Japan, China and many western countries with low birth rates. But saying that Korea is over, come on. I thought Kurzgesagt had higher standards.
