Are you kidding me?
President Donald Trump’s administration on Wednesday ordered a halt to New York City’s congestion pricing system, which thins traffic and funds mass transit by imposing high tolls on drivers entering some parts of Manhattan.
Launched on Jan. 5, the city’s system uses license plate readers to impose a $9 toll on most passenger cars entering Manhattan neighborhoods south of Central Park. In its early days, transit officials say the toll has brought modest but measurable traffic reductions.
No matter how they spin it, main reason for doing congestion pricing was to fight how slow both emergency response and mass transit was getting.
Literally killing people, rich and poor alike.
Last time I was in Manhattan, walking to Penn station, I passed an ambulance with lights and sirens trying to get through. 6 blocks later I looked back and saw I was now 2 blocks ahead of it.
Is Move over law applied rigorosly? This question is not intended to discount overbuilt car infrastructure being overused.
Where do you move over to when the whole road is full?

The bus lane or the bike lane, of course.
…Oh wait, car-supremacist fuckwads have been ripping those out, too.
