I’m waiting for user reviews on this one. I don’t have a lot of immediate interest in it, but if it’s very good, I’ll give it a shot.
It’s so bad, but the ending is worth looking up.
I watched the three episodes back to back and so far I’m not too impressed. It’s alright, I like the animation and voice acting, the plot is meh so far both from a DC and an isekai perspective. I can only say for sure that I fucking love the ed. It took me a second and I thought “hey this voice sounds familiar” and then I realised. Glad to see Dad dropped another sick banger :)
Only watched the first episode, and I wasn’t impressed. Seemed pretty standard as far as isekai go, and while the animation was nice, the pacing had a lot of problems, especially in the action scenes. I could definitely see how other people would enjoy this, especially DC/suicide squad fans, but I didn’t.
Overally, I give the premiere a 3/5.
First episode: Very watchable. They tried to do some nice action scenes, but didn’t have the budget to pull them off.
The editing was slick though.
Killer Shark was a scene stealer.
Second episode: Just okay. Neither good nor bad.
Third episode: We got a hint of it last episode, but true to isekai tradition, it looks like our MCs have gained OP powers on top of their existing supervillain abilities.
The writing was decent with one funny bit with Rick Flagg attempting to use the bits of local language he learned from the orcs.
And also Deadshot’s misinterpretation of his relationship to another character. Deadshot is an over-serious character most of the time.
Overall so far it’s been a decent watch. The writers, directors and editors know what they’re doing.
Not boring and even some funny highlights.
