Disappointing, this could have been great
But there is a deeply silly performance from Rami Malek as Kelley: an eye-rolling, enigmatic-smiling, scenery-nibbling hamfest which makes it look as if Malek is auditioning for the role of Hitler in The Producers.
Oof.

That is pretty much what he does. It worked in Mr Robot to a point.

I was willing to take it with a grain of salt but that paints a pretty bleak picture

Here’s a slightly more nuanced, but still ultimately disappointed review. Sounds like this one is old-fashioned Nov-Dec overhyped Oscar-bait.
That thumbnail makes it look like Dr. Evil standing behind the podium.
For me the trailer did not inspire confidence.
