They just don’t. I don’t need give you a platform, weigh the pros and cons, and listen to you extol the virtues of you shitting in my soup. It is not on equal footing to the idea of not shitting in my soup.

Likewise, I don’t need to listen to the pros and cons of a flavor of linux backed by technocrats in bed with a body politic that would cause any founding father to eat his own beard in rage.

Announcing it was the entire point, it gets more people thinking about poisoning their datasets too. You’re concerned about a dollar when we’re positioned to make thousands.

Stable Diffusion isn’t a company, but also, if you’re heavily invested in one side of the argument, controlling your opposition is the best possible outcome. You allow regular dissent because that’s irrelevant and changes nothing, but when actual controversy happens, you can kill it instantly.

If you somehow get approached by police, DO NOT SPEAK TO THEM AT ALL. Explicitly state that you want a lawyer to represent you and that you will not be speaking or answering any questions. The only questions you have to legally answer (in most jurisdictions) is to identify yourself. Once you have done that, ask for a lawyer and SHUT THE FUCK UP.
