Yum, ocean bugs
Wabbit season

Now I’m hungry, for you?

2 reminded me of a saying. You’re not stuck in traffic, you ARE traffic.

Definitely the cool factor, but less tangible impact on the average Joe.

Commercial airplane assembly/machinist. Putting together a precision engineered gigantic machine that will last 40 years, carry millions of people, and travel millions of miles.

One time in ASL class, the teacher told a story about inviting deaf people to her wedding. One of the people was a little deaf girl. The teacher, wearing her wedding dress, asked the girl how she looked in it. The little girl said, “fat.”
I say all that so that you understand how badly i don’t want to change deaf culture away from brutal honesty. It’s priceless.

Possibly. Using meta data to identify sound should be relatively small. Then, sound samples from the first few seconds would allow comparison without the burden of having everything. Getting the data and samples is probably the hardest part.
There are open source tools to do this kind of thing, you should see if they have offline versions.
I’ve used music brainz picard in the past.

It’s called a speed run, duh

While that might seem enticing at first, it has a climax that just hits you differently.
Nah, just tricked a rock into thinking by running current through it

En-gym-ification?

For my property, the best stuff is wooded land. Cedar, pine, fruit, cottonwood, dogwood, birch, walnut. Cedar being my favorite due to the smell. The tree canopy keeps the ground mostly clear. Lots of birds, raccoon, squirrel, possum, deer, mice, etc. Ample shade. Natural sound deadening. Never have to water it. And a wall of green around my home for most of the year.

Some still are shooting the messenger. If you don’t learn from history, you’re doomed to repeat it.

I don’t take exception to learning about religions and their histories. I took an Eastern religion class in college and quite enjoyed it. The difference is that it wasn’t presented as factual but as an explanation for cultural and societal behaviors.

You had me until you got to a private school, which is largely affiliated with a religion. Those cess pools preach mumbo jumbo to impressionable minds and pretend it’s factual.
I think it is economically disadvantageous to occupy more people than is necessary to perform education activities. On average, trained professionals will do a better job at most things.
