On a highway in the midwest US and the shoulders are clean, but also covered in snow. The snow is a double edge here with equally covering up and making trash more visibly at the same time.

There’s also the case of convicted rapist Brock Allen Turner who is now goes by convicted rapist Allen Turner who was convicted of rape but received a light sentence because he was an athlete and from a rich family.
And let’s not forget Ethan Anthony Couch who received an incredibly light sentence (he was essentially ordered to rehab) after being convicted of killing 4 in a drunk driving accident, while he was already on a restricted license. His legal defense was that he was unable to realize consequences of his behavior because of affluenza.
