I looked up the circumference of a football and it said about 70cm. As the moon is about 10 times the circumference of the earth away, that’d put the moon at 7m away.
Australia is wider than the moon. If earth had the size of a football (soccer), the moon would be about 7m away. If the sun had a diameter of 1m, Neptune would be 5.6km away. In that scale model, the next star would be placed in the outer planets. Space is insanely big.

Nolan makes movies that are visually amazing and because he can try out weird stuff they are sometimes great, but acting like he’s the best thing ever who can do no bad is ignoring all the really, really stupid stuff he does in his movies and I think Interstellar is the worst, with Tenet being a close second.
Christopher Nolan is quite overrated. Interstellar was shockingly dumb. I think he has gotten to a point where either not enough people are honest with him when his ideas are really stupid or his ego simply doesn’t allow him to listen to people.

I think we still need some sort of copyright, but one that expires after like 10 years after first publication. I would actually be fine with everything being used to train AI models, if AI wouldn’t require ungodly amounts of resources and the companies wouldn’t be owned by tech bro assholes. If it would belong to us all, be free to use and not burn down our world even quicker, AI would be fine.
