Things will improve after the major release with more fine grained controls. Being able to limit community interactions to members will drive up quality engagement and that should drive up retention rates.

Public Health@mander.xyz•Weight loss drugs make it harder to get the nutrients you need – here’s what to do about it
15·3 days agoAs the article points out, whether on the drugs or not, anyone that eats less will struggle to get nutrients unless you actively pursue them. It’s just a matter of common sense and medical diligence.
Reading this makes me happy.

31·22 days agoI know people that bariatric treatment like a miracle drug and refuse to adjust, consciously or subconsciously, and I know people that have changed their whole lifestyle and have subsequently enjoyed the lasting success it has brung. No one is saying anything is easy, but you absolutely have to try. Opportunities are there to be taken.

Public Health@mander.xyz•Weight loss jabs: What happens when you stop taking them?
5·23 days agoI think if you limit your thoughts like that, you’re kinda limiting the scope of your success. Your dosage is tiny and so you’re yet to see just how much of an opportunity these drugs can provide. Once the hunger pangs are managed, you’ll have the ability to be in the driving seat and everything will change.

162·23 days agoThe place for weight loss drugs is in the hands of anyone that needs them. The benefits to society are wider than just the individual. You can tackle things like A&E waiting times. Do we need support systems in place too, absolutely, but if someone needs help, give them.

If you’re still hungry, it means your dosage is still a little low. You’re on Metformin too right?

Ozempic is basically opioid crisis 2.0.
Perplexing. Weight loss jobs are supposed to aid you, not carry you. Even in the article, one of the women said she came off the jabs and started binge eating again and I’m like, “WTF, why are you coming off the drug then?” Society keeps stoking up fear regarding these drugs instead of accepting them as a societal win. I liked what the article said about providing support, but I also think effort needs to go into, rather than just stopping, step people down and ween them off so the change feels seamless.

2·1 month agoAn inform Ben White is such a problem. Timber is fantastic, been the best right back in Europe this season, but the way Benjamin finds those little spaces to get into scoring positions… ooh la la. Hopefully he’s not out for too too long. We’re a much better squad with him available.

2·1 month agoI get that this is Hincapie’s first season, but watching him makes me anxious. He’s far too physical. Literally every tackle he wins could be a yellow to the opposition because he spends the whole time tussling. I can totally see Oliver punishing him for one of those.

2·1 month agoGyökeres actually had a decent second half, but he’s clearly not adapted to the league and us and we’ve not adapted to him.
It’s easier for Jesus as he is the blueprint our attack was designed around. Don’t get me wrong, it’s evolved in his absence, but the blueprint is still the blueprint.
Regarding the rest. Honestly, MLS changed the whole game for us. He deserved MOTM for me, followed by Rice. That TNT Sports gave it to Saka was baffling. He had a couple good moments, but was ultimately marked out of the game, despite our best efforts to play through him. It wasn’t until MLS gave them something to think about on the left that he got some space to work.
