I think that’s canonically true for Goku and Hulk

I’m not even arguing that it’s effective, just that it happened.

nxdefiant@startrek.websiteto World News@lemmy.world•Chinese cars are pouring into Mexico — and the U.S. is worried - AutoblogEnglish4·10 months agoLarger population means larger representation. If you say the Netherlands only has about 100,000 idiots, that’s roughly half a percent of their population.
Half of a percent of the US population is over 1.5 million. And I promise you, we have a waaaaaaay higher percentage of idiots than that.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/1991_Russian_presidential_election
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/1996_Russian_presidential_election
Putin’s lowest was 53, in his first election. The latest was 88%, with most of the others being in the 70% range.
Historically though, Russians, have a way of guaranteeing results like that. Yeltsin is kind of a low percentage outlier by comparison:

nxdefiant@startrek.websiteto World News@lemmy.world•G7 agrees to loan Ukraine $50 billion from the interest on frozen Russian assetsEnglish5·10 months agoI’m pretty sure Yeltsin is the reason Russia has Putin.
Yeltsin oversaw the dissolution of the ussr and brought capitalism to Russia, of course the west wanted him to be president of Russia. All he did was ask Bill for favors on the world stage (and got most of what he asked for).
nxdefiant@startrek.websiteto World News@lemmy.world•Migrants dying in unprecedented numbers on Canary Islands route, NGO saysEnglish2·10 months agoSenegalese refugees comprise the bulk of the migrants, and all sorts of things like drought and commodity prices (due to the invasion Ukraine among other things) are driving their economy into the ground. In the end, climate change is definitely a non negligible component of the problem which is only going to get worse.

You’d have to convince the feds it was never designed to be a weapon. Good luck with that.
nxdefiant@startrek.websiteto Europe@feddit.de•Tesla’s Sales in Europe Fall to a 15-Month LowEnglish1·11 months agoMine drove me from my driveway, through my neighborhood, through stop signs, railroad crossings, stop lights, interchanges, highways, on and off ramps, 85 miles an hour and down to a crawl in heavy and light traffic, in rain and on clear days, almost 200 miles round trip once a week for a year. But I’m in the U.S. with access to the FSD stack. I’ve driven rentals with advanced TACC tech, and they have failed to impress ( with the exception of Blue Cruise, I haven’t had a chance to try that yet). If you get a chance to drive a Tesla enrolled in “FSD (Supervised)” as they call it now, I highly recommend it. It will get mad at you if you aren’t looking straight ahead though, and the “keep your hands on the wheel” nags generally only happen if conditions get shitty or you play with the screen/stop paying attention to the road.
nxdefiant@startrek.websiteto Europe@feddit.de•Tesla’s Sales in Europe Fall to a 15-Month LowEnglish1·11 months agoCorrect me if I’m wrong, but I thought FSD wasn’t available in Europe until basically last month, and even then it’s still pending some regulatory hurdles. So you’re comparing VW’s lane keeping tech to Tesla’s most basic TACC (autopilot) right?
Goku has died way more times than Jesus. That probably gives him an edge.
