This will be an odd one. I get a lot of anxiety. But as twisted as it is, one of my mentors said to me:
Relax, no one is shooting at you.

In my opinion, I will state that co-op RE5 is my favorite way to judge compatibility with someone. I know it sounds silly but playing Army of Two is kind of the same. I played RE5 with my ex-fiance, we beat the game on the highest difficulty, got all the achievements, and she wasn’t a gamer–actually didn’t touch video games until we were together. Now the person I last dated was a gamer, yet I don’t why we struggled so much. So in a way, I had to tolerate that we couldn’t work together.
I not sure what to think when you phrase it that way. Are you a follower of the Omnissiah? I have a good amount of metal in my organic mass.
I understand what you’re getting at, although I think that I maybe have had the majority of plastic removed from my body with how much blood was removed from me. Actually it wouldn’t surprise me if I was a blood bank for the ER when I was in the hospital last year.

This is the paradox. I still have old cables from 20+ years ago, the new stuff degrades. At least the woven/braided cables seem like they might last longer.

I’m sorry. This isn’t directed at you.
“if your country is working like a functioning democracy run by responsible adults”
This is a common trope, even over twenty years ago in grade school the notion was that we have an oligarchy or worse. American Democracy was effective propaganda.
I can see that. I would rather see people for who they really are.
Like you state, this cookie cutter Disney version of TV shows really postures that notion. Okay, maybe I did have a wide variety of friends like the shows are ironically but it wasn’t like a TV show. I mentioned this in a few posts now but it’s like my friend that was Asian had her car keyed with–racial term for an Asian person–and does me censoring really do anything? My friend from Lebanon, his mom made the best food, had death threats after 9/11, with all the terminology that came with that. One of my friends got picked on and they called vinegar with a drawn out pronunciation and well of course they didn’t get in trouble.
Worse yet, I had students that would say knee-growth, which was odd to hear because a coworker had cancer in his knee–which I didn’t think was possible. And well that degraded to n-wah as in n-word. So we’re back in full circle. And I mean I had to read aloud, huckleberry finn, so n-word city before the edited version. At at the end of the day, are we accomplishing anything by saying n-word, f-word, r-word?
People shouldn’t be censored for a lot of things anything. Can we agree to stop playing the turn a blind eye to reality game? The older I get the more I get sick and tired of that shit. My comment got auto modded because I wrote that someone called me a fg-t in public. Great success?
I Qwant to search for the correct information but I get results I don’t Qwant. Thank you for your service.

I’m not a fan of over policing, reddit became that way and no one liked that.

That why I like staying in Japan and Korea.
I guess the “slur” got modded out but I think it should have been left in to show what I mean, instead of a man looks at another man having a good evening and smiles, then gets called a slur. Some of these mental gymnastics are exhausting. It’s something that happened to me in person, I don’t know why it should be turned a blind eye to… was it necessary to censor it?–I mean I’m new here.

Oh yeah I sort of get that. I was having a good evening going home to see my girlfriend, went to grab a few beers after work at the gas station and smiled at someone. The guy got pissed and said “what are you looking at removed?” I was like where did that come from. And I’m not scrawny or anything, especially compared to that shrimp.

I’m half way on this, I was just talking to my buddy about this. The last three years I worked pretty much by myself and I think it took a toll on me. Though when I’m in Japan it’s a strange paradox, I feel so comfortable. Maybe because the interactions are minimal and that’s all I can handle after seeing 1-3 people a day.

They’re great, and I don’t shit talk them, but sometimes you meet completely irrational people that are angry and full of hate. I got shit on a lot for trying to explain how politics really work in the US to be met with America hate and you’re to blame for everything and we have our own problems. You can read about the racist twat in my comments, some Chinese–Canadian that is totally cool at shitting on people in America and loves to shit on Japanese people then calls me racist.
I’m like chill out, you’re basically barking at people locked in a prison and telling them why don’t you do something about it.
Sigh 六四事件?
It was really fun a long time ago; getting gifts/exchanging gifts. Secret Santa. Making artwork and just trading it for stuff, lots of subs. And overtime all of that was gone. It became a hateful festering pile of shit. Once reddit became “old” it was done and it showed. It really became a hardcore data mining trash bin. Getting multiple down votes for things I disagreed with was it for me; not that I care about the down votes, it’s just there was no comments no interaction. Reddit maybe has a few more years left in my opinion, with new users only joining because it was indirectly advertised by the people that made it what it is. It’s like Regr’etsy, wasn’t too bad on launch to hey allibaba or temu is in the house!
Heh. When you’re with someone for six years. Things change. At a certain point you have to discuss the direction in life you want to take.
