With an episode like Dan da Dan E7, it’s hard for any of the others to top it in this week’s chart.
The low-effort addition of the udon makes it funnier
We’ll find out when the adaptation of My Life Is Just As Wrong As I Expected After Traveling to Another World Where I’m Surrounded By Cute Girls At A Magical High School And Am Also The Fabled Hero of Legend… gets announced.
I loved FMA’s ending
I hated Naruto’s ending
This one? It’s mid. In comparison to its potential, how Oshi no Ko ended is so ass. The only consistently good thing is Mengo’s art. And that Aka committed to Aqua dying.
The people who disagree probably can’t reconcile that who they consider the good guys can do very evil things. That’s in addition to those who actually consider Palestinians subhuman or worse.
Color me intrigued. Looks like the type that would be a hit (heh) in the West.
Thanks for the response. I guess I’ll check for myself once I come round to watching it.
For context, Violet Evergarden, Your Lie in April (the first watch especially, unresolved past issues and all that), and A Place Further Than The Universe are some that emotionally destroyed me.
If it’s 8-bit, I hope they get enough time and resources. Their Blue Lock schedule was brutal and it showed (or the lack of showing actual animation showed)
Looks like it’s summer camping! Rin character development arc?
With this treasure, I summon… weird lady in red!
If you’ve watched I Want to Eat Your Pancreas, how similar is it in emotional impact to this, in your opinion? I haven’t seen that yet.
Look Back a great movie and am very thankful to experience watching this in the theater. My rating on it is purely on its technical merits. I guess I couldn’t relate on it at an emotional level. I especially love the ambiguity of the eponymous 4-koma scene. Is it an alternate timeline? Or did Kyomoto pen the comic far in advance, without knowledge of her eventual fate? It’s up to you.
You might want to spoiler-tag that. And I already watched Clannad
I only use Lemmy, so… Lemmy.
I think Ice’s Chinese sounds quite good.
Thailand mentioned raaah.

Absolute cinema
shikanokonokonoko koshitantan
Can you already call that baiting?
At least in Kozue’s case towards Hiro
I’m holding a verdict on that until later episodes. Hiro has a lot of new experiences in a short period of time, so it’s believable he largely forgot he has a few years to live. I don’t think he told his new friends yet, and I feel the show will hit you like truck-kun once he catches up to the fact.
That counts as a caricature-criticism of the church tbf
Laid-back episode. The narration is a nice touch and Hiro imagining he’s being interviewed is funny. And the bombshell of the episode, just who exactly is Fujishiro-san?
Before the reveal, I thought he’s a retired Yakuza boss who’s basically made it and retired, then decided to work at a convenience store to live a quiet life.
