Maybe stuff you can’t pay with also shouldn’t be allowed to loan money with. I know it currently does work like that, I’m just saying it shouldn’t, because this creates so many loopholes.

1·3 days agoMy favourite part is the updater and I miss it in other distros. I don’t always want to update blindly, I hate it about Windows and Arch and NixOS don’t fare much better OOTB. Mint’s updater shows you what can be updated, the from and to versions, how much data would be transferred, and most importantly the changelog of each part!
I genuinely appreciate I can go through these, uninstall anything I don’t use anymore and learn what new things will come to my computer!
At least having this option beats "Build 16553 is downloading several gigs over your hotspot, it’s important to do this now trust us” from Windows 😒

This was what got me to talk with people, and what got me to resuming medication and (soon?) therapy. Executive dysfunction sucks, and it’s a bliss that it’s gotten so much less with the right meds by now
