Maybe Linux Lite? It’s based on Ubuntu LTS and the default DE is XFCE but you could replace it with LXDE or whatever you want.

Ah, so it’s so you can edit out inappropriate stuff for your kids or students or something? Yeah, that’s hard.
You’d think there’d be some sort of extension or database with a crowdsourced filtering system like SponsorBlock for this purpose where you could just look up the timestamps for the stuff you don’t want. I don’t have a reason to edit out content so I haven’t looked into whether such a thing exists or not.
Edit: Check out Clean Media Player or Movie Content Filter. It looks like one of them might have at least some of what you’re looking for.
Why bother with screen recording Prime when you could torrent it? I feel like I’m missing something.
Is there any reason you want a self-hosted service for this rather than making an account with TMDB or TVDB? Trakt fetches all of its metadata from those 2 sites (it prioritizes TMDB).
Not that you shouldn’t self-host an alternative, but you don’t have to.
I am not Iranian. Why would I even bother talking to you about Iranians if I was Iranian? Christ… get a fucking brain cell.
I’m sitting in my apartment in Ontario, Canada right now sipping coffee. I don’t even know who you are. All I wanted was information about Khamenei and Iranian people.
Dude, I fucking was born and raised here. You don’t know anything about us if you think we’re not racist assholes.
And i recognize your account its the second time you defend capitalism
LMAO! What? Bro, that’s crazy to hear since I’m a staunch socialist. But whatever! I guess you are the wrong person to talk to about this.
Also, I’m a born and raised Canadian with no Iranian heritage. I am mostly English and French-Canadian. Who do you think you are?
I don’t doubt you, I’m just trying to get your perspective on why these differences exist. But maybe that’s me acting entitled to information from a random person and I would be better off watching a documentary or something.
Can you say why Iranians dislike Arabs or why they support USA/Israel, and why Khamenei supports Palestine and not USA/Israel? I’m trying to understand why this difference exists. I really am not educated at all on this part of the world (that’s my ignorance, but I am curious about your experiences).
Is it really as simple as racism or are there socioeconomic concerns? For example, many people in my country (Canada) hate immigrants because it’s difficult to find a good-paying job or an affordable apartment due to suppressed wages, lack of domestic manufacturing, and a very bad housing crisis. It’s easier to just blame immigrants for coming here than to convince the government to help us more directly.
Can you speak more to that? Why is there such a difference in perspective between average Iranians and Khamenei?
Most Americans don’t realize the scale at which their empire works tirelessly to oppress or subsume all other nations. Telling them about CIA interference in the '70s and '80s blows their fucking minds, let alone what’s going on today across the world. It goes against the narrative that they’re tough but fair stewards of the planet and not schoolyard bullies with nukes who have transformed the global economic landscape to benefit themselves, so it doesn’t make sense to them.

It would have if he had gotten real treatment instead of just eating fruit. He literally had the only type of pancreatic cancer that we could treat at the time.
I have everything containerized (Podman) on my Debian PC and use Diun to check for updates and send notifications to a Discord server that I monitor. I do all of my updates manually so I don’t update unless I have time to troubleshoot; if it breaks I still have the configs and data so I can delete the container and start over.
I also do monthly backups to cold storage (yeah, they should be weekly/biweekly but it’s just personal data that I’m okay with losing). I don’t use a RAID config or BTFS/ZFS like some do, so it’s pretty easy to just set it and forget it. It really depends on what you’re trying to do, how bulletproof it needs to be, and how you like to organize things.
At least a few years. I switched to Linux a year ago and that was a huge consideration for me when choosing Debian over Ubuntu.
Notice how I didn’t say murder, I said killed. That can easily happen in detention facilities due to neglect and lack of medical care, especially as it gets crammed full of too many people. I’m not saying there’s no possibility that there will be murders, but I definitively did not say murder in my last comment because no, it is not my belief that Trump is planning to exterminate migrants at this current point in time. The labour and torture is probably imminent though, Guantanamo is pretty famous for it.
The unwritten implication is that they will be used for slave labour, tortured, and/or killed. It really depends on how fascist and violent Trump wants it to get. Guantanamo Bay is not outfitted for mass detention, so you connect the dots.
FediOnFire was a simple, public-facing project designed to showcase a firehose of public statuses across the network.
For… showing public comments on a live feed? How nefarious. /s
