Oh I don’t give a crap about their “savings”.

Even if self checkout is more expensive to the companies I still prefer self-checkout for personal reasons rather than economical ones.

Besides the issues and opportunities for theft that self checkout creates means that it’s probably a wash as far as how much money they’re saving.

I definitely understand though not wanting to like scan your own groceries or deal with the whole system it would refer somebody else to do it. That’s why they should have both available.

I think that’s a good start if electoralism can get us that far. That does sound a whole lot better than the way we have it now

I like self checkout. I struggle with talking to people and it can really drain on me so it’s a godsend to have if I only need to run in for a few things.

People are using it to steal because people can’t afford the basic necessities anymore and we’ve lost a shit ton of our purchasing power.

Just because we know it won’t get through doesn’t mean we shouldn’t keep trying to push impeachment articles as often as possible.

I mean it only took like two or three Democrat deaths to swing the house in the Republican direction so that the Republicans can get some shit through that could always happen the other way around because the gerontocracy is on both sides

When I need to get through my own ADHD episodes when I’m struggling like this so I generally move to things like reading or writing or drawing. The idea that is to keep my brain moving on some sort of thought so that it can’t fall asleep.

If you’re focused on something you can’t sleep at least in my experience ( I focused on things hard enough to end up keeping me awake when I was supposed to sleep )

Yeah happened to me too. Took some time to refresh my account and to start anew with a clean slate. Still sucks though.

I mean Pakistan felt compelled to at least put his name in for the Nobel Peace Prize. That means he probably did something but who knows how much she was actually involved for whether or not this is all just a political stunt.

I also remember reading somewhere that India was the one that called Trump to negotiate a ceasefire after Pakistan responded. I can’t tell what’s misinformation this day without spending a ton of time researching the history of the topic

What’s interesting to know is that they submitted him for a Nobel Peace Prize after he helped negotiate a deal between India and Pakistan. It was probably something he pushed for because that’s not normally what countries do after somebody helps them to broker a deal.
